Depressing view from my front door:

I was walking through the woods today, and the snow was so hardpacked that I thought to myself, "This is almost like walking along the beach. If I close my eyes, I can imagine." 

Well guess what? My imagination is not that good, apparently.

Six Word Saturday

I just found this awesome blogging meme that I think might be what I'm looking for! First of all, trying to keep a description of my life to just six words each week seems close to impossible. I tend to be what you might call wordy. Or verbose. Or prolific. Which is why I don't write about my life very often. It takes too long. Plus this seems like such a fun group of people. I'm excited to be a part of it. So...six words to describe my week. This week has been all writing the most gooey scenes in the most fun book of my life. So this is part Six Word Saturday/ part teaser:
